2018 is nearly coming to an end but it doesn’t mean that you can’t stop hustling. Although the year is closing, business is still very much alive and booming. Companies are still thriving and searching for new employees. I’d say that jobs are available all year round. To that, Glassdoor, a famous site for jobs and recruitment posted their list of the highest paying jobs in 2018.

I would say that it is also important for you to be aware of what type of jobs that are desired most. It might surprise you that the common knowledge of high paying jobs might not be on my list. On that note, I have compiled a list of the top 10 highest paying jobs in the world as of right now. 10 Highest Paying Jobs In 2018!

1. Physician

What you do: Examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They often counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. Many physicians work long, irregular, and overnight hours.

Average Salary: $195,842.

How To Start: Physicians requires high demand of educations and training. They must at least complete a 4 years undergraduate school, 4 years of medical school, and, depending on their specialty, they might still need to complete 3 to 8 years of internship and residency programs.

2. Pharmacy Manager

What you do: Manage pharmacy staff, oversee prescriptions, consult with patients, administer immunizations, adhere to controlled substance laws, consult with physicians, open and close pharmacy, maintain protocols, manage inventory, keep pharmacy clean, collect payments.

Average Salary: $146,412

How To Start: It requires a bachelor’s degree in pharmacology or a related field of study to pursue this career. It will requires you to have a pharmacy license in where they work. A pharmacy manager cannot be on the drug enforcement administration excluded parties list and must have a current immunization certification.

3. Pharmacist

What you do: Pharmacists dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions. How To Start: Get a bachelor’s degree on an architecture discipline. Get certified as an EA (you could go through the FEAC institute to get certified). Become an apprentice for a few years. Get a Master’s Degree in Enterprise Architecture. Keep updating your IT knowledge.

What you do: You will help the business or that sole company with their legal side. Your responsibility is to protect the company from any issues regarding to the law. You will be somewhat an in-house counselor for the company.
