“In late 2024, I stumbled on Askable through a post on LinkedIn speaking about remote usability testing opportunities. Curious, I went to the site itself to see In what way does the process work and into the legitimacy of the platform
I signed up for Askable in November 2024 and I've been using it for about 6 months. I've done a few tests and so far, it's been a good experience. Usually, I check the platform once during a week, and get an invite to 1–2 surveys in a month, depending on how I fit into the criteria.
I really like how easy it is to join a study. The communication is clear, and I usually get paid pretty quickly. For instance, I tested an app prototype recently and received my payment in less than two days. The calendar integration and reminders are also great for keeping track of my sessions.
It can be really frustrating when I apply for a bunch of studies and don't get picked. I get that it depends on what the client needs, but it would be nice to get more feedback on why my applications didn’t make the cut.
If you want to make some extra cash by doing real research, I really recommend Askable. It works well on your phone and actually cares about what you think. Just be patient; it might take a bit to get matched up, but once you do, it's a pretty good experience.
I’d highly recommend Askable to anyone who wants to earn a little extra income by sharing their opinions. It’s legitimate, user-friendly, and a great way to make your voice heard by real brands.
