“I came across Yeedi while researching affordable robot vacuums that could handle pet hair and had smart features like app control and self-emptying. Most of the well-known brands were either overpriced or lacked specific features I needed—especially a larger dustbin and good mopping capability.
During my search, I noticed that Yeedi K650 had been highly recommended by tech publications like Digital Trends and Wired, especially for pet owners. That led me to explore more of their product line, and I was intrigued by the Yeedi Vac Station, which offered self-emptying and mop functions at a much lower price point than big-name competitors.
I dug deeper, read user reviews, watched some YouTube demos, and was impressed by the balance of functionality, design, and price. That’s when I decided to try it out and share my experience.
I started using the Yeedi robot vacuum around January 2024, and it's been in regular use for about almost a year and a Half now. From day one, I was impressed by how easy it was to set up and integrate into my daily routine.
Over the weeks, I’ve tested it across different floor types—tile, carpet, and hardwood—and through everyday messes like dust, crumbs, and especially pet hair. With regular use, I’ve come to appreciate features like the self-emptying base, mapping accuracy, and how much time it saves in general house cleaning.
I use the Yeedi robot vacuum almost daily, typically scheduling it to clean in the morning when the house is quiet. On busy days or after heavy shedding from pets, I might run it twice a day, especially in high-traffic areas like the living room and kitchen.
For mopping, I use the feature about 2–3 times a week, depending on foot traffic or spills. Thanks to the app, I can easily schedule or start cleanings remotely, which has made floor maintenance almost effortless.
The most useful feature for me is the hands-free cleaning experience—especially with the self-emptying base on the Yeedi Vac Station. Not having to constantly empty the dustbin saves a ton of time, and the fact that it can vacuum and mop in one go is a big bonus.
I also really appreciate the smart mapping through the app. Being able to set specific rooms or zones to clean, and avoid areas I don’t want it to go, makes the whole process much more efficient. And as a pet owner, the tangle-free brush on the Yeedi K650 has been a game-changer—it picks up fur without getting clogged.
Overall, it’s the convenience and reliability that make it such a valuable tool in my home.
While I’m happy overall, there are a few things that could be improved:
Obstacle avoidance isn’t very advanced on some models. It occasionally bumps into low-profile furniture or gets stuck on charging cables or rugs with fringe. You’ll want to do a quick floor check before each run.
The mopping function, while convenient, is fairly basic. It’s great for light cleaning but doesn’t scrub or deep-clean dried stains the way a dedicated mop might.
These are minor issues considering the price point, but worth noting for anyone expecting high-end features from a more budget-friendly device.
I’d definitely recommend the Yeedi robot vacuum to anyone looking for an affordable, efficient, and easy-to-use cleaning solution—especially pet owners, busy families, or anyone tired of daily sweeping.
If you want something that gives you smart features like app control, scheduled cleanings, and even self-emptying, without spending a fortune, Yeedi is one of the best options out there. The K650 is great for pet hair and general vacuuming, while the Vac Station adds the hands-free convenience of automatic dirt disposal and mopping.
It’s not perfect—no robot vacuum is—but for the price, Yeedi offers excellent value and performance. If you want a cleaner home with less effort, it’s a smart investment.
