“I first heard about TikTok For Business from a digital marketing webinar in early 2023. At that time I was looking for a platform to promote small products online, and many marketers recommended TikTok as one of the fastest platforms to grow brand awareness.

I started using TikTok For Business around March 2023. I have been using it for more than one year to run simple ad campaigns and analyze content performance for business accounts. I access the dashboard 3–5 times a week. Mostly to check analytics like audience demographic, retention rate, CTR (click-through rate) on ads, and video performance.

What I find most useful is the analytics dashboard. It helped me understand my audience better—what time they are most active, which content performs best, and what topics get more engagement. I also like the Smart Targeting option in TikTok Ads Manager, because even with a small budget (I sometimes started with only $3–5/day), my ads still reached relevant audiences. Another strong point is the creative tools like video templates and A/B testing for thumbnails or captions.

The platform is powerful, but there are some areas that could be improved. Sometimes the ad review process takes too long—one of my ads stayed under review for more than 36 hours without any clear reason. The second issue is limited customer support for small advertisers. When I submitted an inquiry, I had to wait around 3 days to get a reply, and even then, the answer felt like a template rather than a real solution. Also, frequent algorithm updates mean I have to keep adjusting strategies, which takes extra time.

Overall, I would still recommend TikTok For Business to small business owners, content creators, and marketers who want fast reach and engagement. It works best if you combine organic content and paid ads together.

“I got to know TikTok for Business from other creators and small business owners on TikTok.

I’ve just started using it and am currently testing its features while preparing my first campaign. Right now, I use it occasionally as I’m still getting familiar with the dashboard and ad creation process.

Spark Ads are especially helpful because they let you boost content directly, without having to create separate ads from scratch. But not all features are available in every region, which can limit testing if you’re managing international products or offers.

Uneori, verificarea reclamelor și aprobarea lor poate dura mai mult decât pe alte platforme. În plus, interfața pentru gestionarea mai multor campanii simultan ar putea fi mai intuitivă. Totuși, acestea sunt aspecte minore comparativ cu avantajele generale.
