“I followed a TradeMe advertisement into a website, which allowed me to sign up for a few paid surveys websites including OpinionWorld. I then signed up for a free account and tried writing a few surveys.

I started using it this past week. That's less than a week. I only leisurely browsed and participated in a few surveys to accumulate points. I also started the new member surveys which I thought were fun and engaging.

It allowed me to gain exposure to services, brands and other areas of the business which I normally wouldn't be thinking about without participating in a survey. For example, one of the surveys invited me to recognise the brands, and how I believed the public would perceive these brands given the commitments they had in their publicity efforts. This has allowed me to think about things in ways that I never thought would be possible, with the possibility to accumulate points towards a gift voucher.

There is a requirement to reach certain points before the reward could be redeemed. In the initial signing up process, I indicated a preference for cash rewards, which I thought would be great. The rewards page showed one of the rewards available in the form of OpinionWorld gift card, which would be great. However, it could also create a negative impression, if redeemed and spent at the retail store, I appeared to be an unemployed person spending lots of time on surveys.

I would recommend OpinionWorld to people who are looking for a way to express themselves, especially if they usually hold to themselves a lot of opinions which they wouldn't be given an outlet for unless they were specifically entitled to these channels to communicate their opinions. It also provides a good outlet for stay-at-home mums and retired professionals with the time to connect with others through surveys.

“I was exploring ways to earn rewards in my spare time, and PanelPlace showed me OpinionWorld as a reliable option.

I have been using it regularly for about 3 months. I tried to complete surveys daily when I have time, and explore more chances to complete surveys.

I really appreciate the flexibility to complete surveys whenever it suits me. But some surveys can take a little bit longer than expected.

I would recommend it to my friends who have spare time and want to do something meaningful while earning a little extra money.

“I come to know OpinionWorld while looking for a place to earn a side income.

I registered myself and started earning by doing simple surveys. I use it quite often as I enjoy using it. It generates a side income for me.

Surveys are not that complicated and easy to understand. Only one problem is the ads that bothers me sometimes.

Started using Opinionworld a few years ago, on and off. I go on Opinionworld a few times a month. Sometimes I go on daily.

There is many different surveys to try all the time. Giving points even if you don't qualify. But I dislike that there isn't an app so I unfortunately forget about it.

I would recommend Opinionworld to anyone. Very easy to use

“Found them online when searching for some simple ways to make a bit of extra cash.

I've been using Opinion World for around 10 months. Some weeks I'd use it quite regularly, other not so much - really depends on time.

It was a good way of making some cash, however, I'd advise all user to be very wary - see me next comment.

I had been completing surveys for several months in good faith with this platform, until out of the blue, they suspended my account. I have no idea why, and they refused to tell me how or provide evidence that I've breached their terms. Frustratingly, I had $40 worth of unclaimed rewards when the account was closed.

There contact terms basically state they can cancel your account at any time, and you forfeit your right to any rewards. This is illegal under the NZ Fair Trading Act, specifically the section that prevents unfair contract conditions. I've written them a formal complaint detailing how and why they are on the wrong side of NZ law. I don't expect any success to be honest, given they are a US based company. I do intend to report them to the Commerce Commission, however, and I encourage anyone else who's had a negative experience with them to do so to, whilst they are US-based, they operate a .co.nz website and trade here, so they are bound by our laws if they wish to continue to do so.

No - see my main comment above. You're at the mercy of their accounts team, who may decided to cancel your account at any time. I assume there is some sort of algorithm that flags accounts automatically, but clearly it's prone to false positives. If that happens to you you're out of luck, as the help desk has no interest in disclosing how you've supposedly breached terms (their line is telling you would compromise their security), so you have no way of clearing your name. I'd highly encourage all NZ users to explore other options, or at a minimum withdraw your rewards every 500 points, so as to minimise potential loss if they suddenly decide to take issue with you.

“I get to know OpinionWorld when I was looking for a part time job at seek. I got interested with this platform because I needed extra income and this is the best survey platforms that I've know my whole life.

I started using OpinionWorld when I received their email. I started today and it was pretty good because I had an experience using survey platform and this is the best one, it is easy to use and you will surely earn more income. I will definitely use Opinion World every single day. I love this platform.

The most useful about Opinion World is that you can make your own time because it's not time consuming. You can still earn but it depends on how often you'll use it. I don't dislike anything about Opinion World. I love the functionality and the usability of it.

The different opinions ate most useful and interesting for me. Don't dislike it I have nothing against it. Would ne nice to have more info about it online or in emails.

I started using OpinionWorld in January 2022, and I’ve been actively participating for nearly two years now. I use OpinionWorld about once a week, completing surveys whenever I have some free time.

“I got to know OpinionWorld via PanelPlace - and the help of social media and advertising.

I started using OpinionWorld 2 weeks ago and I haven’t been using the platform that long. Not often - I’d say about 4 times a week and it is a great way to earn.

The Easy. & sufficient tools provided and it’s insight and easy to use answering questions. As of now I have no further negative feedbacks towards the platform.
