“I first came across Bokksu through an Instagram reel where someone was unboxing rare Japanese snacks — and the moment I saw the matcha KitKat, I was intrigued. I did a quick search, landed on the Bokksu website, and immediately wanted to try it for myself!
I subscribed to Bokksu about 3 months ago, and I’ve received two boxes that included limited-edition KitKats. Each one has been a flavor surprise — way beyond the regular chocolate I’m used to.
I get a box once a month, and I usually spread out the treats over the week (or at least try to 😅). The KitKats are always the first things I eat — they’re that good.
The cultural guidebook that comes in every Bokksu box is a gem! It explains each KitKat flavor, the region it comes from, and even gives fun facts about Japanese snack culture. It’s not just snacking — it’s learning while munching.
Honestly, the only downside is that the quantities of the KitKats are small. I wish there were more pieces of each flavor, especially the ones I really love (looking at you, strawberry cheesecake KitKat 😍).
