How learning on Alison works:
1. Register your free Alison account
Registering an account is completely free and gives you unlimited access to the Alison website.
2. Find the right course
Alison has over 3,500 courses available, all absolutely free to complete, and new courses are added weekly. Check out our study areas page to help you understand the type of learning you want to pursue, or browse our course categories to see where your interests lie. We offer Certificate courses, and Diploma courses.
3. Get Enrolled
Once you have found the course you want to study, all you have to do is click on the Start Now button to enroll and get learning. All Alison courses are self-paced, so you can study whenever and wherever you want.
4. Become a Graduate
You can take or retake an assessment on Alison anytime you want, but we require scores of 80% or more to pass. Once you have passed all the assessments on your course, you are officially an Alison graduate!
5. Acquire your Certification
Once you have completed your course, you can download your learner record as proof of your achievement. You can also purchase your Certificate or Diploma (depending on the type of completed course) and we will post it to you with free standard shipping worldwide.
6. Empowerment

I started using Alison in 2023.It has been three years now and I love it.
I use Alison on a weekly basis since I am currently doing several courses
It's an easy to navigate app and has a variety of courses. At the end of the courses you get certified which is such an amazing idea. The courses are detailed too
Nothing so far. It has been an amazing experience and I haven't come through any setback yet.
I would most definitely recommend Alison as you can study from anywhere. Whether at home,in the office or while on a trip and you van always come back and continue from where you left the lesson and good thing about it. They will also send you reminders to finish your course and also showing study pattern in terms of time spent.

My Learning Experience So Far!
I started using Alison in early 2025; I have completed several diploma and certificate courses since then. It has been ongoing. I use Alison several times a week/month, both on my laptop and mobile app, to study new modules and review completed lessons.
The platform is flexible, and the course quality is exceptional. I appreciate the opportunity to learn in my own time. Sometimes when travelling on the train, the app can be slow to load, which is understandable.
I highly recommend Alison to anyone wanting to improve their career skills. It’s a reliable platform that opens doors to global opportunities.

I started using Alison since 2023 and I'm presently using the platform. I usually learn a course from Alison for the period of three months.
The course contents are most useful to me. Alison provides a user friendly course contents with notes audio and visual illustrations. Suitable for both audio and visual learners like me.
But the cost of obtaining a physical certificate of completion, both shipping fee, was a challenge.
I would really love to recommend Alison to others especially students who are finding it difficult to understand a course contents in school and are both audio and visual learners.

I began using Alison in 2016 and I still use it in 2025 to keep myself update with industry standards which is ever changing. I normally used Alison approximately once quarterly per calender year as this is the time I give myself for each self study topic
I like the fact that you are rewarded with a certificate / diploma at the end of the course once successful, sometimes its free other time you have to pay but having access of proof of your hard work is a plus.
I dislike that the cost of the certificates can be a little on the pricier side sometimes and also the details of the transcripts are too wordy.
I definitely will and have already done so on many occasions. I see it as a way where persons wanting to upgrade in an already existing skill or even wanting to transition from one industry to another can have insight to that industry at their fingertips.
